Miguel Ángel Hernández Ruiz
Economics undergraduate at UNAM. I work on input-output networks, industrial policy, economic complexity, and green finance — and spend the rest of my time on classical guitar and entertaining deranged ideas.

bio:
I'm a research assistant working primarily with Dr. Clemente Ruiz Durán at the School of Economics, UNAM. My empirical work sits at the intersection of network theory and development economics: input-output structure, global value chains, and the financing of the energy transition.

Outside of that, I am a trained musician. I love syncopation and low-tuned heavily distorted guitars. I play classical guitar — currently working through Bach's lute suites — and write, mostly in Spanish, on film, music, and ideas at postsocratico.com.
